Foresight News reports that Nasdaq-listed Bitcoin treasury company Genius Group announced it has resumed buying Bitcoin. It purchased 10 BTC this week at an average price of $85,364. The company said the purchases had previously been restricted by a preliminary injunction, which the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit vacated on August 31.
Chief Executive Officer Roger James Hamilton said the purchase was modest in size, but signaled that the company had resumed accumulation at the start of what it believes will be the next major rally. The goal is to hold $827 million in Bitcoin and $800 million in AI assets by fiscal year 2031 through a $1.2 billion dual-treasury plan, funded by operating cash flow, perpetual preferred securities, and ATM offerings, with no debt and no pledging of Bitcoin or AI stocks.
