$QI 24 hours surged 159%. Around 0.0038—I'm wondering who’s the one taking the bag.

This pump is way too wild. The short-term gain is close to 160%—what kind of concept is that? $BTC only dropped 0.3%, and this small coin just flew. Trading volume is 24 million; the volume matched well, but this kind of move isn’t driven by news—no sign the project team has done anything major. Most likely it’s the market maker pumping with its own script.

I took a small position just above 0.0035, with a stop-loss order at 0.0028. If it breaks down, I’ll exit. I’m not saying I think it can go to the moon; I’m saying this kind of abnormal spike is often a short-term opportunity. Since the market maker pulled it, they probably won’t only pump it for one day. But if you chase after the price, don’t blame me for not warning you—you might just catch the last baton.

On the other side, NFP got smashed, down 65%. At 0.00181—this one doesn’t interest me.

A drop over 60% isn’t a normal retracement; something must have gone wrong. Either the project has issues, or the liquidity was pulled. Volume is only 3.8 million, and the low turnover suggests the people doing the dump have mostly exited—but that doesn’t mean you can bottom-fish. I’ve done licking the knife’s edge before; most of the time, the ending isn’t good.

Right now, the BTC funding rate is -0.0003; shorts have the advantage, but the price is only down 0.31%—it’s just moving sideways without direction. The small coin’s anomalies are more like an independent setup; don’t expect it to move in sync with BTC.

Of these two extremes, I’m more focused on QI’s short-term opportunity, but keep position sizing under control. High severity means high risk.

How long do you think QI’s pure capital-driven pump can last?
