Recently $UNI there is another easy-to-overlook positive catalyst, and that is the UNI ETF.

Everyone has been focusing on the Robinhood Chain. Stocks and RWA are starting to move on-chain, and Uniswap has already directly captured this wave of incremental trading volume.

On the other hand, the SEC has recently opened up new regulatory room for tokenized U.S. stocks to be traded via on-chain AMMs. Uniswap V4 itself supports more flexible permission controls and customization—this thread is also worth keeping an eye on.

But there’s another thing I think is worth revisiting lately.

On February 5 this year, Bitwise already filed with the SEC an application for a spot Uniswap ETF, and this ETF directly holds UNI.

You can look at HYPE’s timeline as a reference.

On October 29, 2025, 21Shares filed the spot HYPE ETF’s S-1 with the SEC. Then on May 12, 2026, THYP officially launched.

From application to launch, it took about 6.5 months.

And Bitwise’s UNI ETF, from the application on February 5 this year to now, has already been over 7 months.

Of course, the review timelines for different ETFs can’t be directly compared just by time. No one can be sure when the UNI ETF will be approved.

But at this point in the process, I think it’s already worth taking a fresh look at its progress.
