Maybe the next thing that truly changes Web3 isn’t BTC, not the next DEX, and not even the next 100x meme.
What is really worth being wary of is—
Those technologies that now look like “not many people use them, hard to understand, and even a bit boring” may be becoming the underlying standards of the next generation of the internet.
Many Web3 projects today look small and very early-stage.
But what is truly worth researching might not be:
“How many people are using it now?”
it is this:
“In 10 years, could it become a bottom-layer capability the internet can’t do without?”
If you look along this direction, there are three lines that are especially worth long-term observation:
🔐 FHE × AI
So AI can compute without seeing the original data.
🧩 ZK × Privacy / Identity
Prove “who I am and what I meet,” without handing over all your personal data.
🤖 Crypto × AI Agent
In the future, AI won’t just chat—it might have a wallet, make payments, execute transactions, buy computing power, and even autonomously settle with other AIs.
On the other hand:
DEX, RWA, Stablecoin
It’s already started as Web3 experimentation and is gradually moving toward financial infrastructure.
But what really piques my interest is—
What if, in the future, these technologies start to converge?
FHE + AI + RWA + Stablecoin + ZK
It may no longer just be a DeFi app.
…which could form an entirely new layer of internet economy:

Confidential Internet Economy
Your identity can be verified, yet you don’t have to expose all your personal information.
Your assets can be traded, yet you can have stronger privacy protection.
AI can use data, but it doesn’t necessarily need to see the raw data.
AI agents can autonomously pay, trade, and settle.
RWA can be tokenized, and Stablecoin becomes a digital settlement tool.
And technologies like ZK and FHE could become the trust and privacy layer behind the scenes.
At that point, Web3’s destination might not be at all:
“More and more people use a particular app.”
Rather, it is this:
“These technologies ultimately merge into the network itself.”
Just like today nobody would particularly say:
“I want to use TCP/IP.”
Because it has already become part of the internet.
So maybe the question worth tracking long-term isn’t:
“Who will be the next 100x DEX?”
Rather, it is this:
“How many people still don’t understand these niche Web3 experiments are quietly turning into tomorrow’s basic infrastructure?”
Not chasing today’s hotspots, but finding tomorrow’s standards.
