$XRP
The Nature of Operations Matters in Terms of Capacity!
According to Vet’s assessment, a significant portion of that high transaction volume consists of very small, simple $XRP transfers. Therefore, a single ledger with 3,254 transactions doesn’t directly mean that XRPL can consistently process thousands of complex transactions per second.

This is because not every transaction in XRPL consumes network resources to the same extent. There can be significant differences in transaction load between a simple $XRP transfer and decentralized exchange (DEX) transactions or NFT transactions. As Ripple continues to take innovative steps and evolve, a new record has been set by $XRP Ledger, the core blockchain of the Ripple ecosystem.

At this point, $XRP Ledger recently set a record by processing 3,254 transactions in a single block.

The record was announced by Vet, XRPL Foundation community leader and validator, in a post on his X account. Vet stated that there were 3,254 transactions on the ledger, making it a new record.

Vet also noted that XRPL does not have a fixed block size like Bitcoin, but instead adjusts its transaction processing target based on network conditions
