9.10 Gold Asian Session Morning Review

Overnight, gold prices rose and then fell back, completing a round of consolidation and adjustment. This morning’s Asian session open continues a mild, choppy rhythm, and overall the market is in a repair-and-consolidation state. At present, the short-term downward pressure from the bears has not been fully digested. Prices are leaning weak under pressure, but the downside momentum has been gradually slowing; there is no longer the strength to sustain an extremely weak one-way selloff.

The key intraday rhythm is clear. The range above 4410–4440 is the short-term strong resistance zone and also the key resistance area from yesterday where the price was repeatedly rejected and pulled back. A large number of short-term trapped positions are clustered here. When the price rebounds into this zone, it is likely to face selling pressure and will be difficult to break higher in one go.

Meanwhile, 4375 and 4350 below are two critical intraday defensive support levels. They are dense consolidation-and-acceptance areas where the market has repeatedly pulled back and stabilized in recent sessions. If gold falls into this range, the buying and holding power will increase noticeably, which can effectively lock down further downside. As long as the key supports below are not broken, the short-term will maintain a choppy repair pattern. Only if support is effectively broken to the downside will the market restart a new round of weak pullback.

Current Asian session liquidity is relatively weak, and the market mostly oscillates and whipsaws rather than establishing a clear one-way direction. In terms of trading, do not chase rallies or selloffs. Rely on the key support and resistance zones, and wait for the strength/weakness signals after price tests specific levels; then participate in line with the trend.
