According to Odaily, Animoca Brands, Animoca Brands Japan, San FranTokyo, and MyAnimeList have announced their partnership with Anime Foundation, a community culture protocol spanning Web2 and Web3 for anime and manga. The partnership aims to create new opportunities and experiences for global fans, creators, studios, IP holders, and projects and brands inspired by anime.
Prior to this strategic collaboration, Animoca Brands Japan invested 300 million yen (approximately 1.91 million USD) in MyAnimeList, a global anime community website and database with 16 million registered members.
In addition, Anime Foundation will form a strategic alliance with Mocaverse, a large growth network with an interoperable account, identity, reputation, and PointFi system infrastructure provided by Animoca Brands. This strategic alliance will utilize the Realm Network interoperability SDK recently announced by Mocaverse to launch Anime ID, a DID and reputation layer, to accelerate the development of the Web3 ecosystem.
