According to U.Today, a member of the Dogecoin and X teams, known as 'DogeDesigner', has issued a warning about the misuse of the Grok AI chatbot. The chatbot, developed by Elon Musk's xAI startup, has been manipulated by some users who have been sharing altered screenshots of their interactions with the AI. DogeDesigner has advised users to post their conversations directly from Grok to maintain authenticity and prevent the spread of misinformation.

Grok is available to users with a paid Premium subscription on the X social media platform, previously known as Twitter. The chatbot was launched in November of the previous year by xAI, a company created by Musk to rival OpenAI and its main product, ChatGPT. Musk has previously criticized these, considering them to be 'woke'.

In other news, Elon Musk's xAI is reportedly set to close a funding round at a valuation of approximately $18 billion. The company aims to raise around $6 billion, as per a recent report by Bloomberg. Sequoia Capital is among the participants in this investment round. However, the company's valuation and the timing of the funding round may still change, according to sources close to the matter. xAI's key selling points during this investment round include Musk's successful track record as the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, and the opportunity to train the Grok chatbot on vast amounts of data extracted from the X platform.
