Almost a year after the FTX hack, interesting activity was detected in the wallet of the criminal identified as 0x3e957. Currently this mysterious wallet contains $16.75 million worth of Ether. While Ethereum-based ETFs are planned to launch in the US soon, these transfers are associated with selling activities that could put downward pressure on the Ether price. If the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approves ETF products on October 2, access to Ethereum could increase and provide stability and legitimacy to the cryptocurrency world.
