#ledger确认用户设备遭植入未授权硬件 Holy crap, you buy a cold wallet to protect your crypto, and end up sending millions of dollars straight into a hacker’s pocket? 😱 The Ledger and CryptoBilis incident has even prompted CZ to issue a warning. It’s a lesson for everyone in crypto. According to reports, one investor bought 80 $BTC four months ago at an average price of $65,000, putting in a total of $5.2 million. At one point, they were up as much as $1.38 million. For security, they specifically bought a Ledger hardware wallet from CryptoBilis and transferred all 80 BTC to it. But just a few days later, the wallet had been completely drained! Even more alarming, another user reportedly bought a Ledger from the same reseller, deposited 7 million USDT, and was also robbed. On-chain security researcher Specter estimates that hundreds of wallets may have been affected across multiple chains, including BTC, ETH, and TRON, with potential losses exceeding $86 million. Of course, the exact attack method and actual losses have yet to be conclusively determined, and it can’t currently be said that Ledger’s hardware itself has a vulnerability. But Ledger has already suspended sales through its CryptoBilis channel, and this incident is certainly a reason to be cautious. We used to think keeping crypto on an exchange was unsafe, and that moving it to a cold wallet would solve everything. Now we’ve learned that if you buy a cold wallet from the wrong source, someone may have tampered with the recovery phrase before it was even generated. So, everyone—especially if you’ve recently bought a Ledger from CryptoBilis—keep an eye on official security announcements. If you suspect your device may be compromised, move your assets to a wallet with a recovery phrase generated on a trusted device. Never keep using a recovery phrase from an untrusted source. At the end of the day, the most surreal thing about crypto is that you can spend ages studying the market, dodge a crash, steer clear of shitcoins, and avoid getting liquidated on futures—only to lose everything to a cold wallet that was supposed to protect your assets. We used to worry about exchanges collapsing. Now we have to worry about the hardware wallet supply chain, too. Making money in crypto is hard enough. Somehow, safely holding on to what you’ve made is even more of a headache than making it in the first place. 😭 {spot}(BTCUSDT) $BTC $ETH #Ledge #加密安全
