Is there a future for DCA bots on the Binance exchange? It seems like I just created a DCA futures bot, but itโ€™s already been running for 11 days. Why did I decide to launch this particular bot? The thing is, Iโ€™ve been using them quite successfully on a third-party platform for about five years now. But there, you have to give up up to 20% of your profits, whereas on the exchange, itโ€™s a free service for now))). But of course, there are downsides too. On the platform, I can change any parameter affecting the botโ€™s operation at any time. Here, you can only do that by stopping the bot. Thatโ€™s not always convenient, especially if the bot has opened a position and itโ€™s in the red. This is certainly not the only downside, but letโ€™s not dwell on the negativeโ€”the goal was to check if thereโ€™s a place for such bots on the Binance exchange), The results are mixed, especially since we have something to compare it to. Over 11 days of operation, the bot put a whopping 3.5% profit on our deposit, meaning we can potentially expect 10โ€“12% per month, and that would be around or slightly over 100% per year. That doesnโ€™t seem too bad, considering that this will be pure profit and we wonโ€™t have to give 20% to the creators of a third-party platform. These are the preliminary results of the $SolUsdc futures DCA bot, which the exchange kindly allowed us to create))). All the best, looking forward to comments and questions. $BTC /USDT, March 2025. Sideways-to-bearish chop, down ~2% on the month. Ran a DCA backtest with tight parameters to see how step size and order depth handle a slow bleed: Base order: $100 DCA size: $100 DCA step: 2% Max orders: 10 TP: 3% Capital at risk: $1,100 Why this combo mattered: โ€” 2% step = high trade frequency, caught local volatility instead of waiting for big dips โ€” 10 max orders = deep buffer, strategy didn't get caught out by extended drawdown โ€” 3% TP = fast cycle turnover instead of holding for a bigger move that wasn't coming Result: 27 orders across 8 sessions, 7 closed in profit. +1.93% ROI vs a straight buy & hold loss on the same period. One session stayed open into the month-end with 83.82% peak unrealized drawdown, the real cost of staying deep in DCA orders during chop. The step % and order depth did more work here than the take profit setting. Tight steps in a slow-bleed market mean more fills, more averaging, more chances to exit small and often. Don't trust strategy claims. Test them. #Bitcoin #CryptoTrading #DCABot
$BTC /USDT, March 2025.

Sideways-to-bearish chop, down ~2% on the month.

Ran a DCA backtest with tight parameters to see how step size and order depth handle a slow bleed:

Base order: $100
DCA size: $100
DCA step: 2%
Max orders: 10
TP: 3%
Capital at risk: $1,100

Why this combo mattered:

โ€” 2% step = high trade frequency, caught local volatility instead of waiting for big dips

โ€” 10 max orders = deep buffer, strategy didn't get caught out by extended drawdown

โ€” 3% TP = fast cycle turnover instead of holding for a bigger move that wasn't coming

Result: 27 orders across 8 sessions, 7 closed in profit.

Test them.
