WhatsApp is free, Signal is free, Telegram is free. Nothing is free WhatsApp makes money through three streams: the Business API, Click-to-WhatsApp ads, and payment transaction fees all charged to companies, not users. WhatsApp's data feeds directly into Meta's advertising algorithms across Facebook and Instagram. You're not the customer. You're the infrastructure. Signal runs on donations. That model is honest but fragile. Session nearly shut down in April 2026 for the same reason. One fundraising cycle away from gone. Telegram runs on Durov's personal wealth and premium subscriptions. One arrested CEO, and the platform's future becomes uncertain overnight. That happened in 2024. @Liberdus runs on a different logic entirely. Node operators earn $LIB for securing the network. Transaction fees fund protocol development. No business API. No ad targeting. (RankRed) No single person whose arrest changes everything. The economics of a communication network determine who it actually serves. Follow the money long enough and you find the real user. On Liberdus, that user is you. #Liberdus $LIB #BTC $BTC

Seoul police have dismantled a fraudulent $XRP staking platform that siphoned off nearly $19 million. According to South Korean authorities, three people were arrested after scamming 71 victims out of roughly 3.4 million $XRP worth close to 27.3 billion won (around $19 million). The scammers posed as the Flare Network and FXRP projects, exploiting their launch to convince investors to deposit XRP on a fake staking platform. A fourth suspect, believed to be abroad, is now the subject of an Interpol red notice. ๏ปฟ#XRP

Monero + Tor: the ProxyMark paper is being discussed. What to take away: โžก๏ธ The attack is real It exploits how Monero handles its Tor connections (the two outbound proxies) โžก๏ธ The issue is purely network-level Several heuristics from the paper hadn't been patched yet (proxy selection bias + timing) โžก๏ธ Monero isn't broken Ring signatures, stealth addresses, and RingCT remain intact Proposed fixes: - Consistency checks on the peerlist - Rate-limiting sync messages - Possible hardening of Dandelion++ No panic but no denial either Monero remains solid on-chain, but pairing it with Tor in its current setup exposes a weak point. The weak link is often found at the junction between two protocols Anyone running a node behind Tor should keep an eye on upcoming code changes. ๏ปฟ#Tor #Monero $XMR

Telegram built its reputation on freedom. No censorship. No government access. Privacy for everyone. On August 24, 2024, Pavel Durov landed at Le Bourget Airport outside Paris. French authorities arrested him on twelve charges, including complicity in drug trafficking and child sexual exploitation all tied to content on his platform. After the arrest, Telegram changed its policy and began handing over user data to law enforcement. The platform that positioned itself as untouchable handed over data the moment its founder sat in a French jail cell. This isn't a criticism of Durov. It's a structural observation. Russia and Iran had already banned Telegram for not handing over surveillance keys. France took a different approach and it worked. Every platform with a CEO, a headquarters, and a legal entity has a pressure point. Governments know where to push. @Liberdus has no CEO to arrest. No headquarters to raid. No legal entity to compel. The network runs on nodes distributed across participants not on servers owned by a company that can be squeezed. Telegram's story isn't unique. It's a pattern. The question isn't whether a centralized platform will eventually bend. It's when. #Liberdus $ LIB #Privacy #Web3 #XRP $XRP
