Buying a bStock for dividends? There’s an important detail.

Imagine you buy $CRCLB or another bStock and see that the company pays dividends.

Your first thought might be:

“Great, I’ll receive the dividend in USDT too.”

But that’s not how it works.

If Circle pays a dividend, Binance doesn’t simply credit the dividend to your balance as cash.

Instead, the net dividend is automatically reinvested into the underlying stock, and your CRCLB position increases through the Multiplier mechanism. The applicable dividend tax is deducted before the reinvestment.

For example:

You hold 10 $CRCLB .
Circle announces a dividend.

You won’t see:

💵 +$5 USDT in your balance.

Instead, your position is automatically adjusted, giving you slightly more exposure to CRCLB.

So the dividend effectively stays inside your investment.

And for beginners, there’s an important question:

What do you actually want from a bStock?

If you want regular cash credited to your balance, this mechanism might surprise you.

But if you plan to hold a bStock for longer, automatic reinvestment can be convenient because you don’t have to manually buy additional tokens with the dividend.

So before buying CRCLB, I would ask myself:

“Do I want to receive the dividend as cash, or increase my position?”

With bStocks, these are not the same thing.

And in my opinion, these are exactly the small rules beginners should understand before buying, not after.

Did you know that bStock dividends don’t simply arrive as USDT in your balance?
