The CSO of the Binance exchange, Jimmy Su, indicated that phishing and malware remain greater threats to cryptocurrencies than quantum computers do today, but warns that research suggests the industry has less time to prepare than previously thought. While today’s quantum computers are far from the size and stability needed to break Bitcoin’s network cryptography, urgency has changed.
