Market signals. The mark price of 1.217 is almost the same as the current price, with no obvious long-short deviation. Funding rate is 0.005%, extremely low. There are not many longs, and not many shorts either. The market is waiting for direction. This rate shows that most people are afraid to open new positions, shaken by the volatility of the past few days. I am waiting for a clear signal before making a move.

Market sentiment. The 24-hour trading volume is 380 million US dollars. For a coin that has just gone through an 80% drop, this volume is not small. It suggests someone is buying the dip. Someone else is also cutting losses. Sentiment is extremely split. The 24-hour low hit 0.721, the high reached 1.407, and the intraday range was nearly 100%. At this level of volatility, retail traders will only keep getting whipsawed. I am watching from the side.

Whale activity. The volume distribution is very interesting. During those crash candles, single-candle volume surged from 4.25 million to 21.94 million units. The most extreme 4-hour candle traded 150 million coins, with turnover close to 134 million US dollars. That is the scale of forced liquidations from panic selling. The big players either got out early, or they were the ones dumping the market. During the rebound, volume returned to 37.54 million coins, more than five times lower than during the crash. The dip buyers are not the main force; they are retail traders trying to catch a falling knife. The real institutions have not returned yet.

Volume fell from 59 million coins to 31.94 million, then rose to 37.54 million. Price and volume are cooperating reasonably well, but the absolute volume is far weaker than during the crash. The 24-hour high at 1.407 is immediate resistance. Above that, 1.62 to 1.80 is a dense trading area with layers of trapped holders. Breaking through in one shot is unlikely.

Candlestick details. The latest 4-hour candle opened at 1.150, dipped to 1.132, rose to 1.407, and closed at 1.216. It has a clear long upper wick. It was pushed back after spiking to 1.407, and the close was less than 6% above the open. The upper wick is nearly three times the body length. This shows strong selling pressure above. Someone was dumping around 1.40. It could be early trapped holders reducing positions. It could also be shorts adding. Either way, it is not a good sign.

Nini’s plan. Bearish bias. The rebound is unlikely to last far. Current price 1.217, overhead resistance at 1.407 and 1.62, support at 0.87 and 0.72. If the rebound cannot break 1.40, I may consider a small short. Stop loss above 1.45. Target around 0.87. If it breaks 1.62 with volume, I will take the loss and exit, no stubborn holding. After a crash, eight out of ten rebounds are traps for bulls. I’m not greedy.
