Tax misconceptions: Learn the common misconception about cryptocurrency and taxes. The masterclass will cover why the ATO does not accept the cash-in and cash-out methods as well as when the personal use exemption can be applied.
Saving on taxes: We can’t avoid tax but there are a few simple ways to keep more money in your pocket, the masterclass will cover how to eliminate, split and defer.
Smart structure: Learn the different Smart structures; company, trust and SMSF.

Nick is the Technology Co-Founder @ Kova Tax, whose focus is on technical solutions that streamline and automate accounting and compliance tasks. Nick has an extensive knowledge of software development, blockchain technology, and a strong understanding of its tax treatment in Australia.
Nick empowered Kova Tax to be the first accounting firm in Australia to accept payment in cryptocurrency and to enable employees to be paid in bitcoin. As an avid crypto investor himself, he puts the tax theory into practice with investments in cryptocurrencies and blockchain projects.

Maryna is the Tax Co-Founder @ Kova Tax, she is a Chartered Tax Adviser with extensive experience in accounting, audit, and tax. Maryna empowers Kova Tax to be Australia's tech-driven accounting firm, building a better digital world for investors, businesses and SMSFs in the cryptocurrency sector.
Maryna is a figurehead in the Australian digital asset space. She has been published by the Institute of Public Accountants and is the representative for Kova Tax at Blockchain Australia and FinTech Australia. She is involved in ongoing work around the future of tax legislation and its application to blockchain and cryptocurrency.
