🚀 Web3 domain name service provider Ethereum Name Service (ENS) generated $235,000 in fees on August 13. This figure is the highest level since September 11, 2022.

🌐 Over the last few years, ENS has occupied an important place in the Web3 space, enabling users to create easy-to-understand domain names and wallet addresses for cryptocurrencies.

💰 According to Arkham Intelligence data, ENS DAO (0xFe...44b7) has assets of over $132.4 million. These assets include 10 million ENS (valued at $90.63 million), 15,000 ETH (valued at $27.72 million) and 14.13 million USDC stablecoins.

📈 Total active ENS names exceeded 2.6 million as of August 14, reaching approximately 740,000 unique addresses.

🔗 This development comes a little over a month after ENS announced plans to use layer-2 to increase scalability and reduce costs.

🌐 ENS launched a new fiat on-ramp for domain name registrations via Web3 fiat payment gateway MoonPay earlier this year.

🤝 Its rival, Unstoppable Domains, added support for ".eth" domains in July, allowing users to purchase them through its official website.

🔐 Unstoppable Domains aims to engage a new audience as it is the only platform where ENS can purchase .eth domain names. Every .eth domain purchased through Unstoppable's website will be registered via the ENS smart contract with the same full functionality as any other .eth domain.
