Over $50 million worth of APE and AXS tokens will be unlocked in one go this week.

As a component of Tokenomics, token unlocks (also known as release schedules) refer to the process of releasing locked tokens to the market within a set period of time. The purpose is to ensure that the incentive mechanism between the team, investors, and community users is consistent. Token unlocks (especially one-time unlocks) may bring selling pressure to the market, which in turn may cause significant fluctuations in token prices. Therefore, investors need to pay attention to risks before and after the token unlocking node.
Generally speaking, token unlocking can be divided into linear unlocking and cliff unlocking. Cliff unlocking means that the tokens are locked until a specific event or date occurs, and the locked tokens will be released all at once. Generally, the tokens airdropped by the project party are part of the "cliff unlocking". Linear unlocking means that the tokens are released daily at a stable and fixed rate over a period of time. Liquidity incentives are usually included in linear unlocking.
According to data compiled by Token Unlocks, this week (July 17 to July 23, 2023), APE (ApeCoin), ARKM (Arkham), X2Y2 (X2Y2), EUL (Euler), 1INCH (1inch), ID (SPACE ID), AXS (Axie Infinity), and CTSI (Cartesi) tokens will have a one-time unlocking node:
APE（ApeCoin）
ApeCoin token APE unlocked 15.6 million (about 31.67 million US dollars) at 08:00:00 on July 17, accounting for 1.56% of the total supply. These unlocked tokens are allocated to "Yuga Labs founder", "Launch Contributors 3", "Launch Contributors 2", "Charity", "Treasury", and "Yuga Labs". Among them, "Treasury" unlocked the most, which is 14.91 million US dollars; in addition, APE has now unlocked 53%;
ARKM（Arkham）
150 million Arkham tokens, ARKM, will be unlocked at 08:00:00 on July 18, accounting for 15% of the total supply. The total supply of ARKM is 1 billion, and the final token distribution of 50 million ARKMs from Binance Launchpad will be calculated at 07:00 on July 18; the "Ecosystem Incentives and Grants" part totals 373 million, with an unlocking time of more than 5 years, and 70 million will be unlocked this time; the "Foundation Treasury" part totals 172 million, with an unlocking time of more than 7 years, and 30 million will be unlocked this time.
In addition, the ARKM token distribution also includes three parts: "advisors", "investors", and "core contributors", which will begin to be unlocked after one year.
X2Y2（X2Y2）
X2Y2 token X2Y2 will unlock 37.5 million (about $970,000) at 23:47 on July 18, accounting for 3.75% of the total supply;
EUL（Euler）
154,380 Euler tokens (EUL) will be unlocked at 22:22 on July 19 (about $370,000), accounting for 0.568% of the total supply;
1INCH（1inch）
1inch token 1INCH will unlock 364,290 (about 150,000 US dollars) at 08:00 on July 20, accounting for about 0.024% of the total supply;
ID（SPACE ID）
15.15 million SPACE ID tokens (about $4.06 million) will be unlocked at 08:00 on July 22, accounting for 0.758% of the total supply;
AXS（Axie Infinity）
Axie Infinity token AXS will unlock 3.43 million (about 21.62 million US dollars) at 21:10 on July 22, accounting for 1.27% of the total supply;
CTSI (Cartesi)
Cartesi token CTSI will unlock $1.54 million (about $240,000) at 12:00 on July 23, accounting for 0.154% of the total supply;

Uniswap token UNI unlocks 454,795 tokens (about 2.65 million US dollars) every day, including "Community Treasury" and "Team/Investors/Advisors". Currently, 11.21% of UNI tokens are still unlocked;
