According to Foresight News, according to China Securities Network, the reporter learned at the Hangzhou Shangcheng District Metaverse Industry Development Forum that Hangzhou Shangcheng District has issued a series of policies aimed at promoting metaverse technology innovation, accelerating the gathering of metaverse companies, building a metaverse industry ecosystem, and creating a metaverse industry pilot zone.

A series of policies include entrepreneurship support, office subsidies, R&D subsidies, growth incentives, talent introduction and cultivation, financial support, benchmark scenarios and ecological construction. For example, a one-time start-up subsidy of up to 200,000 yuan will be given to newly settled Metaverse entrepreneurial projects; a subsidy of up to 2 million yuan per year will be given to companies that rent office space for their own use, and the subsidy period can be up to 3 years; a maximum subsidy of 10 million yuan will be given to high-level talent innovation and entrepreneurship projects.
