During the transition from a bear market to a bull market, price action is always choppy, and the market throws up all kinds of nasty surprises.
I added a few long positions in areas with a high risk-reward ratio.
So far, this year’s bull market has completely replicated the early stages of the 2023 bull market. I still vividly remember the eight months of consolidation at the start of the 2023 bull market. My position wasn’t very large back then, and I was always trying to catch every market move, so I was put through the wringer for eight months.
I hope it’ll be different this time (though it’s pretty much the same every time).
