The day before yesterday, when U.S. stocks plunged, I failed to strictly follow my rules and cut my losses, so I ended up holding onto a losing position. I watched my account get cut in half and the stocks keep falling. I was thinking like a retail investor again, refusing to take a loss, and even trying to trade the swings while prices were dropping. I should be grateful that yesterday I traded the Nasdaq and Nvidia. From now on, I must always use stop-losses. If I trade trash stocks again, I’ll get wiped out.
