On Wednesday night, it was still at 2290. As I wrote about it, I was thinking: 2300 is just overhead. This time, it’s going to break through.
And it did. A huge bullish candle in the early hours of yesterday sent it straight past 2400, all the way to 2450.00—a number I never expected. I stared at the screen and thought: This is really taking off now.
And then?
Last night, one huge bearish candle wiped out 2400, then 2300, and sent it crashing all the way to 2206.28. All the gains from an entire day were wiped out in one night—and then some.
From 2450, it fell as much as 10%.
Today, it spent the day hovering between 2220 and 2250. Now, at 9 p.m., it’s at 2238.62, up just 1.5% from the low.
The worst part is, it surged in one huge bullish candle and plunged in one huge bearish candle. Before you even had time to react, the whole round trip was over.
