$XTZ printed 52,816 trades in a single hour yesterday — more than half of everything the pair did all day — and the price has since handed the whole move back.

The 11:00 UTC hour on 5 November opened at 0.2700, tagged 0.3173 and closed 0.2926. By 03:21 UTC today it was back at 0.2527. Three things on the public tape told me more than the percentage did:

1. Average trade size in that hour was 36 USDT, against 80 across the other 23 hours. A crowd of small orders, not a few large ones.

2. That hour was 56% of the day's trades but only 37% of its turnover, so count and money disagree about how big it really was.

3. The 0.3173 print is still the 24-hour high. Nothing has been back to test it.

The day's volume-weighted average sits at 0.2772, so most of that money changed hands above where XTZ trades now.
