On November 5, JPMorgan raised its price target for McDonald’s from $250 to $270 and maintained its Overweight rating. According to Sina Finance, analyst John Ivankoe said the company is in a multiyear transformation focused on improving existing stores’ operating efficiency, technology systems, and customer experience. JPMorgan said McDonald’s steady cash flow supports continued store modernization, giving it investment capacity that some restaurant chains with weaker capital positions lack. The bank expects new stores to contribute about 1.4% to overall growth after adjustments for average sales at new stores and franchise fee rates. It said the third-quarter results offered few surprises and that the stock, at about $280, was above its December 2027 target of $270, so it would prefer to wait for a price pullback before buying.
