Binance co-CEO Richard Teng said the platform had sufficient financial resources to absorb the losses related to the $6.3 billion hack without affecting users. Teng said Binance would cover these losses through the Secure Asset Fund for Users (SAFU) and other company resources already set aside. The replenishment covered 95% of the affected tokens. Teng said withdrawals had largely returned to normal after Binance reopened them on Sunday. Binance plans to strengthen security in response to the new risks artificial intelligence poses to transactions and payments.
