Binance sees a wave of large-scale withdrawals after gradually resuming withdrawals
This followed a cyberattack that led to the theft of digital assets worth $6.3 billion, according to Reuters
The cryptocurrency analytics platform DeFiLlama showed net outflows from Binance exceeding $3.5 billion on Sunday. The company acknowledged that withdrawals initially surged, but said they had begun to decline and were gradually returning to normal levels. It added that the withdrawn funds represented a very small fraction of the total assets it manages.
