Now that Sui and Mercado Bitcoin have announced a partnership, can you use Hashi for BTC lending?
You can't assume so based on the partnership announcement alone.
The Sui Foundation's original post dated October 29 stated that the two parties were still exploring Hashi integration, and that no products based on this integration were available at the time. The initiative would also need to go through the platform's internal governance process and comply with the applicable Brazilian regulatory framework.
The same announcement mentioned the integration of SUI, USDC, and USDsui assets, as well as USDsui being accepted as collateral for lending. This is not evidence that Hashi-related BTC lending is already available. Don't combine the progress of different products into a claim that “everything is live.”
