Our Sun blows a giant bubble around itself, made of solar wind, and it helps shield our planets from harsh rays coming from deep space. In August 2012, Voyager 1 crossed its outer edge, called the heliopause, and became the first human made object to sail among the stars. Every day it travels further into the unknown. Rather wonderful, isn't it?
