Mysten Labs showcased VAA, an AI agent behavior verification solution developed in collaboration with Google Cloud, but the available materials do not yet prove that it has been adopted at scale.

The solution aims to address a specific problem: enabling counterparties and auditors to independently verify what an agent has done. According to public descriptions, Google Cloud stores the operation records privately, cryptographic proofs are stored on Walrus, and Sui handles on-chain coordination and verification.

The same ecosystem roundup also mentioned that Cetus launched tools allowing agents to access trading functions. This shows that the ecosystem is exploring ways for agents to perform on-chain operations, but it does not count as evidence that VAA already has users. What we can see so far is a solution showcase and claims from within the ecosystem, with no independent disclosures of participating organizations, real-world verification cases, or usage figures.

If agents can trade but no one is willing to pay to verify their actions, has SUI’s AI narrative become reality, or has it only reached the stage of a technical demo?
