Last night before bed, I still thought $FOREST could push a bit higher. This morning, I pulled up the 15-minute chart and nearly dropped my phone.
Forest Protocol is a launchpad for playable tokens, and it’s listed on Binance Alpha. The chart says it all: the current price is around 0.0518, still up nearly 100% over 24 hours (about +97%), but the high-low spread is terrifying—the price dipped as low as 0.023 and surged to around 0.119. Its market cap is about $15 million, FDV around $50 million, and trading volume just over $5 million. The price shot almost straight up around 2 p.m., then a string of red candles gave back most of the gains. Volume surged along with the price, then gradually tapered off—a classic post-rally breather that turned into a sell-off.
The order book isn’t very deep, so slippage can bite. The narrative isn’t fresh, but this move has been wild—not some gentle, steady climb. The moving averages have been thrown into disarray, and the price is now hovering below the short-term averages.
I’m not chasing this pullback. If you’re already holding, keep an eye on whether it can find support nearby; if it can’t, cut your losses. If you’re out, it’s better to wait for the excitement to die down than to catch it halfway down the mountain. After a near-doubling, chasing this leg of the retracement can easily turn you into exit liquidity.
Were you already holding $FOREST and riding out the pullback, or did a gain of over 90% make you too nervous to jump in?
