⚠️ PTBUSDT funding rate alert
Trading pair: $PTBUSDT perpetual contract
Funding rate: -2.0000%
Settlement frequency: Every 4 hours (4-hour mode)
Next settlement: 2026-10-23 04:00
Current time: 2026-10-23 01:49
🚨 Funding rate has widened three times in one day
16:35 Downward wick -11.00%; open interest increased 7% against the trend
22:49 Funding rate -1.0287%
01:49 Funding rate -2.0000% (has reached the -2% extreme)
📉 -2% is an extremely negative funding rate. A single settlement would cost short positions around 2% of their market value, making the annualized cost exceptionally steep. Shorts are extremely crowded, and the conditions for a short squeeze are largely in place. At the same time, this shows that selling pressure is still placing bets, and the battle between bulls and bears is heating up.
⚡ About 2 hours 11 minutes until the next settlement
