Let’s talk about the most expensive habit in crypto that never shows up on a P&L sheet: screen rot.

Yesterday, I caught myself staring at a 5-minute chart for three hours straight, waiting for a clean liquidity sweep that never came. By the time London session closed, my brain was so fried that I forced a mediocre entry on an altcoin just to feel like those three hours weren't wasted. Unsurprisingly, I got stopped out within twenty minutes.

We treat trading like a factory job where more hours automatically equal more output. In reality, decision fatigue destroys your edge faster than a bad strategy. Your brain only has so much bandwidth to weigh probabilities objectively before it defaults to impulse and boredom.

Look at your trade history and sort it by time of day. I guarantee your worst losses happen at the tail end of a long session when your patience is depleted.

Set price alerts at your actual invalidation and entry levels, close the tab, and walk away. If the market needs you, your phone will buzz. How many hours of active screen time do you cap yourself at per day?
