🏦 Deutsche Bank makes a major move into crypto
The German bank is preparing to launch a digital asset custody service in Germany in the coming weeks, with plans to expand into Asia in 2027.
The service will initially support $BTC , $ETH , $USDC , and $EURC, along with the euro-pegged EURAU, while providing private key protection for institutional clients.
The move goes beyond custody: the bank is also planning services for stablecoin conversions, tokenized deposits, and blockchain-based securities.
In my view, major banks entering the space in this way strengthens the presence of digital assets in the financial sector and reinforces the positive long-term outlook.
