DeFi across 10 chains: how many protocols do developers need to integrate?
The answer could become: just one.

Binance Wallet launched its DeFi API over the past two days (officially previewed on 10-16 and formally announced on 10-17). One interface connects to 10 EVM chains, including BNB Chain (BSC), Ethereum, Base, and Robinhood Chain. The first batch of integrations includes major protocols such as Aave, Morpho, and Uniswap. It can also build transactions directly and add liquidity to bStocks liquidity pools.

One API handles four things: discovering DeFi products, checking wallet positions, reading protocol data, and building transactions. Previously, building a multichain DeFi app meant integrating lending protocols separately from DEXs. Now, you can connect to them all at once. Officially, Solana support is “coming soon,” but no timeline has been announced.

My take: the BNB Chain ecosystem stands to benefit most from this move. On-chain U.S. stock assets like bStocks need an easy-to-use gateway. Making liquidity provision a one-click process could significantly deepen the pools for tokenized U.S. stocks on BSC. For everyday users, DeFi features in wallets may increasingly become “one-click” operations, lowering the barrier to entry. For developers, BSC is in a window of opportunity: Solana isn’t integrated yet, so apps that launch first can capture the traffic.
