$BTC ETF loses another $229 million in a week!

Major ETFs, including BlackRock’s, see outflows again!

Weekly net outflows reached as much as $228.58 million.

Institutional buying has yet to truly recover.

The BTC rebound still can’t pick up speed, and the flows are telling the story!

The latest data shows that U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw combined net outflows of around $228.58 million this week, with major products, including BlackRock’s, drawing market attention. BTC ETFs saw some daily inflows earlier, but redemptions still outweighed inflows over the week as a whole, indicating that institutional demand has yet to fully recover. It’s worth noting that these flow changes reflect ETF investors’ subscriptions and redemptions; they do not mean that issuers such as BlackRock are actively selling their own Bitcoin.

The key concern is that sustained net outflows from ETFs could weaken incremental buying demand for BTC. This is especially likely to amplify short-term volatility when the market repeatedly tests key support levels. However, a single week of outflows does not mean the long-term trend is over. The next things to watch are whether ETF flows turn positive for consecutive weeks and whether BTC can hold the key area around $80,000. If spot demand gradually strengthens and ETF inflows return, the market may have a chance to break out of its current weak, choppy trading.

With nearly $229 million flowing out in a single week, BTC’s market flows still need time to recover.

If ETF buying picks up again next week, a rebound after this correction is still worth looking forward to!
