Foresight News reports that Evan Cheng, co-founder of Sui developer Mysten Labs, announced in an open letter that the company has established an AI division dedicated to developing “agent trust” products and AI-native infrastructure. The division encompasses engineering, product development, and other functions, and operates with a high degree of independence to reduce reliance on external parties. In addition, Mysten Labs President Kevin Boon will take over as CEO, while Evan Cheng will continue as CTO and also oversee the AI division.
