On October 14, U.S. spot crypto ETFs suffered a double whammy in a single day: Bitcoin spot ETFs saw $261 million in net outflows, while Ethereum spot ETFs saw $130 million in net outflows.
According to SoSoValue data, BlackRock’s ETHA led outflows on the Ethereum side, with $110 million in withdrawals. On the Bitcoin side, however, buying bucked the trend: Bitwise’s BITB recorded $2.22 million in net inflows, the largest net inflow among Bitcoin ETFs that day.
Overall outflows, but pockets of inflows—the flows are sending mixed signals.
