Let’s talk about market cap and trading volume.
Total market trading volume is the sum of the data from all trading venues. The trading volume of an individual exchange reflects only the trades on that exchange.
One thing worth bearing in mind: market cap is calculated by multiplying the price by the circulating supply. It isn’t the same as the amount of real money flowing in. When trading is thin, even a small amount of money can significantly move the market cap.
Judging whether a coin is “cheap” based only on its unit price isn’t very meaningful—you need to consider its circulating supply and market cap together.
