What does a volume spike actually tell you? Volume surges on the minute chart can be pretty noisy, and a spike in one or two candlesticks may just be a single large trade. Several consecutive candles with elevated volume are more informative.
Don’t chase just because volume is up. Volatility is usually highest during a volume spike, so using less leverage is a safer bet.
Learning to read indicators isn’t hard. The hard part is still following your rules when the market is at its most heated.
