🔥 The #1 rule that 90% of Binance traders ignore… and it costs them a fortune

Hey, Binance team! 👋

Today we’re talking about an incredibly important topic: risk management on Binance Futures.

Because making 50% is great… but losing 80% on a single bad trade is even more common.

A lot of traders focus only on entries, signals, and targets.

But pros think first about avoiding liquidation.

Here’s exactly how I manage risk on Binance (and how you should do it too):

1. Never risk more than 1 to 2% of your capital per trade

This is THE golden rule.

If you have 1,000 USDT, risk no more than 10 to 20 USDT per position.

Even if you’re wrong 5 times in a row, you’re still in the game.

2. Always use an isolated stop-loss (Isolated Margin)

On Binance Futures, switch to Isolated, not Cross.

That way, if a position gets liquidated, it won’t affect the rest of your account.

It’s free and highly effective protection.

3. Calculate your leverage based on your position size

The higher the leverage, the tighter the stop should be.

Personally, I stick to between 3x and 7x maximum for swing trading, and rarely go above 10x even when scalping.

Too much leverage = stress + emotional mistakes.

4. Stick to a minimum risk/reward ratio of 1:2

Before entering, ask yourself:

“Am I risking 1 to make at least 2?”

If the answer is no, sit this one out.

Even with a 40% win rate, you remain profitable in the long run.

5. Log all your trades (Trading Journal)

After each position, write down:

Why you entered

Where your stop was

What you did well/poorly

Binance gives you all the data in your history. Use it. That’s how you really improve.

💡 Bonus tip for the current market (October 2026):

BTC is consolidating around 82–84k. Sideways markets are perfect for Binance’s Grid Trading Bot.

Set up a tight grid with reasonable leverage and let the bot work while the price fluctuates.

Many traders forget that bots exist precisely for this kind of market phase!

Trading isn’t a sprint; it’s a marathon.

Those who survive drawdowns are the ones who win in the end.
