Here are 3 things you need to know about $ETH right now (Binance data, Oct 16, 16:32):
1. The side with the crowd is often the harder one to make money on. A more bullish account ratio and funding rates near 0 mean longs aren’t adding more money—they’re just not willing to leave.
2. ETFs are still selling. According to Farside, nearly all of the outflows on the 9th came from BlackRock’s ETHA.
3. On the 4-hour chart, the moving averages are still in a bearish alignment, with support at 2,406 and resistance at 2,521.
My view is: before ETF outflows stop, this looks more like a pause during a decline, not a bottom.
If the 4-hour candle closes below 2,406, accounts crowded on the long side may be forced to stop out, and the drop could accelerate; if price breaks above 2,521 with volume and ETFs turn net inflow, then my view will be wrong.
