I spotted this PIXEL alert: it’s up 22.7% in 24 hours. The key is that it already made a move 3.2 hours ago, and now it’s continuing in the same direction. It’s gained another 8.4% in 5 minutes, with volume 6.8 times the norm. This is a classic acceleration on the follow-through, not a one-off spike.

Look at the volume, price action, and where it is. The current price is 0.00788, just 2.79% below the 24-hour high of 0.0081, right beneath resistance. It’s already 27% above the low of 0.00574. The moving averages from MA7 to MA99 are all aligned bullishly, so the structure is indeed strong. But the RSI is already at 76, which puts it in overbought territory—not an ideal entry point. There’s volume and money flowing in; the issue is that the price is too close to resistance, and there isn’t much room overhead yet.

On the futures side, open interest is up 11.6%, with new money entering and opening positions. That suggests this isn’t just existing holders trading among themselves, and the market has the fuel to keep moving. The funding rate is 0.0005%, and long and short leverage is still fairly balanced—not at an extreme. But the alert mentions a retail long/short ratio of 12.0, meaning longs are severely overcrowded. If the price pulls back, this kind of setup can trigger a stampede, reducing the odds of success for chasing longs.

My take: there’s a way to participate in this move, but absolutely don’t chase at the current price. 0.0081 is firm resistance. Only follow after a high-volume breakout that holds; targets are 0.0085 to 0.0088, with a stop below 0.0078. Another approach is to wait for a pullback: around 0.0077 is MA7 support. If it holds, enter, with a stop at 0.0073. Chasing in at this level just means providing an exit for the money that entered 3.2 hours earlier.

Don’t FOMO. Catching a falling knife and chasing the top are two different things. Wait for confirmation before making a move.
