The small test transfer went through. Do I still need to double-check before sending a larger amount?

Yes. Suppose you first send a small amount and the recipient confirms it arrived. That only shows that the address, network, and asset combination worked for that particular transaction at that time. It doesn’t confirm that the conditions are still the same for your next, larger transfer, or guarantee that the fee deduction method and final amount received will be the same.

When you start the larger transfer, don’t rely on what you remember from the test transfer screen. Check that the recipient address is still the same, confirm that the network and asset match, and read the displayed fee and estimated amount to be received again. If the rules aren’t clearly stated on the page, check the official page of the platform you’re using.

If anything changes after the test transfer—address, network, asset, or fee conditions—the earlier successful transaction doesn’t validate this larger one. Before confirming, note the total amount to send and the estimated amount to be received side by side, check each one, then submit.
