Following ACDE #247 , Glamsterdam now has a concrete activation time on the Hoodi testnet: epoch 132352, 2026-10-26 17:42:48 UTC / 10/27 01:42 (UTC+8).

That’s one day earlier than the previously tentative date of 10/27. Lodestar and Teku have adopted the same epoch and timestamp in line with the eth-clients/hoodi proposal; the official EIP-7773 and EF testnet announcement tables still list Hoodi as TBD, and the mainnet date has not yet been set.

Who needs to act: Anyone running a Hoodi node or validator must upgrade to a client that supports this schedule before activation. Ordinary ETH holders on mainnet don’t need to do anything this time.

My take (inference): This de-risks the upgrade schedule—the testnet rehearsal is progressing, but that doesn’t mean ETH demand or token economics will change immediately. If eth-clients/hoodi or a subsequent ACD changes the epoch or timestamp, these figures will no longer apply.
