If you’re an ordinary person with limited capital, hoping altcoins can turn your fortunes around, don’t rush to hunt for the next 100x coin. I’ve been in crypto for years, and the truly hard part has never been watching your balance soar—it’s holding on to the profits.

Suppose you invest 100,000 yuan and the market goes 30x: on paper, that’s 3 million yuan. It’s an enticing figure, but it’s just a mathematical illustration—not a typical outcome, and certainly no guarantee you’ll actually cash out with that much. After making their first big profit, many people don’t suddenly become more cautious. Instead, they may increase their positions and chase hot trends more often, mistaking luck for skill.
