Bitcoin’s sudden sharp drop—could it be related to U.S. government addresses moving funds?👀

According to on-chain monitoring, relevant U.S. government addresses have transferred out about 12,300 BTC, worth roughly $1 billion.

Coincidentally, about two hours later, BTC briefly fell below $81,000.

Meanwhile, over the past 12 hours, liquidations across the entire market totaled about $684 million, with long positions accounting for the vast majority.

Now the biggest question in the market is:

Is this just a routine transfer between addresses, or did the market trade in advance against “potential sell pressure”?

At this point, you can’t conclude that the U.S. government “dumped” just because the timing overlaps.
But wallet movements at this scale would definitely make the market tense.

Large fund transfers + high leverage + crowded long positions are often the most dangerous combination.
