ETH’s biggest bagholder is about to graduate.
Tom Lee @fundstrat said at TOKEN2049 that BitMine will stop once its holdings reach 5% of the circulating supply of $ETH . It’s now only about 100,000 ETH short.
I did the math: BitMine currently holds over 6.01 million ETH. At last week’s pace, it’ll take at most another six or seven weeks to buy the rest.
The original quote was interesting too: “We thought it would take five years, but we got there in just over a year. Now we’re stopping.”
