On-chain data analysis (3)
There is a lot of data on the chain, so I won’t show it all. Let’s briefly summarize it.
BTC
Judging from this month's data, it is high-net-worth users who are selling, while retail investors are buying, but short-term holders are more willing to hold BTC for the long term than long-term holders. What is this indicating?
Retail investors are in FOMO, and large institutions are in FUD. It is understandable for large investors to sell. If I bought it in the fourth quarter of 2022, I would also sell it. After all, it is not a bull market. I will close it when the market is good. Duocong said in last month’s article that institutions are reducing their holdings, but I don’t know if you have seen it.
Although large investors and institutions are selling, it does not mean that their pessimistic behavior about the market outlook is correct, but in general, retail investors are still taking over.
