Market sentiment is pretty conflicted today: one coin is up 40% in a day, while another has dropped by a quarter. Clearly, money isn’t lifting or dragging everything across the board—it’s picking its spots. If you’ve got itchy fingers over the next couple of days, take a closer look at these two first.

First, $BR is the standout today. It’s up more than 40% in 24 hours, with over 500 million in trading volume and a nearly 75% price range. That suggests real money was pushing it during the day—it wasn’t just a hollow pump. But look at the details: volume over the past hour is only a little over 40% of the daily average, the gain over the past four hours has basically disappeared, and the price is sitting just above 60% of its daily range. In plain English, the charge is over and it’s catching its breath. Volume is clearly drying up, and whether it can keep going depends on whether fresh volume comes in to take over.

Then there’s $MINA , which is a bit worrying. It’s down 24% in 24 hours, with the price sitting at the very bottom of its daily range—just 2% above the low. Volume over the past hour has surged to 1.7 times the daily average, and the price is still getting hammered. It’s also down more than 7% over the past four hours. This combination of heavy volume and a price drop near the bottom clearly suggests people are panicking and rushing to cut their losses. This isn’t the kind of slow decline on fading volume that nobody cares about. Before the panic selling is over, let’s not rush in—give it time to play out.

For now, I’d rather wait for two signals: first, after the leading gainer’s volume dries up, can it hold steady at elevated levels? If volume keeps shrinking and it can’t hold its position, today’s excitement was probably just a one-off move. Second, when will volume on the biggest loser fall from 1.7 times average back to normal, and the decline start to narrow? That would be a sign that most of the panic selling is probably over. Until then, I’d rather watch more and trade less, and keep my position size lighter. Let volume show us the direction instead of trying to guess—it’s more reliable.

When the market moves fast, keep your hands steady and your heart rate down. We’ll see what tomorrow brings.
