Is it really that hard to earn steady profits in crypto? Lower your expectations, stay rational, and plan your position sizes carefully—it’s not as hard as you might think!

Here are several spot strategies with different time horizons, based on the size of your capital:

① For large portfolios of over 10 million: If you’re bullish on the industry, anticipate bull and bear cycles, and build a BTC position in three tranches using a 4-3-3 allocation. Hold through the 2028–2029 major cycle. Once your investment doubles, recover your principal, then hold the profits until the end of the cycle. Target annualized returns: 30–50%.

② For portfolios of 5–10 million: Allocate 50% to BTC and 50% to ETH and SOL, and build your positions in three tranches using the same 4-3-3 allocation. When BTC doubles, recover your principal; when ETH and SOL triple, recover your principal. Hold the remaining positions until the major cycle ends.

③ 2 million–5 million: go all-in directly on ETH+SOL. Use a 4-3-3 phased layout. If the position increases by 3x or more, withdraw your principal; keep the remainder until the end of the 2028–2029 cycle.

④ Up to 2 million: allocate 80%+ to ETH+SOL, and within 20% hold a small number of high-quality altcoins. If an altcoin triples, sell it off. By mid-2028, exit all altcoins, switch back to majors, and fully leave the market at the end of the cycle.

⑤ For small capital, remember: don’t let contract/futures guys brainwash you. Many people say small funds can’t make money in spot markets and can only trade contracts—don’t believe it. Contract/futures risk is extremely high and can easily wipe out your entire principal.

Final summary: refuse to chase pumps and dumps frequently, stay away from futures/perpetual contracts, and don’t blindly buy into overpriced altcoins.

Over a full cycle, don’t aim for overnight wealth; earn returns that beat inflation—better than the vast majority of ordinary investors.

DCA investing, keep your hands steady; selecting coins is more important than anything else.
